At 18 months these are the words we hear:

He can wave, blow kisses, high-five, fist-bump, toast 'cheers!', and blinks as a wink.

In American Sign Language, he can say:
Up, down, potty, more, all finished, eat, cracker, milk, banana, dog, sign language, siren, music, hot, cold

He also has sound effects and gestures to talk about:
Dogs, cats/lion, goats, penguins, white noise machine, hammer, flag, airplanes, clocks, gates, water, chicken salad, comb, trains, train conductor, things that spin, washing, Mason, Max, Regan, Devon, Chris, Drew, Megan, phone, lights, keys, glasses/sunglasses, help, open, close, lay down/sleep, sing me the elephant song.
[In other words, these are the things he talks about that only we can understand.]
